Health and Safety Plan

The Pennsylvania Department of Education requires that each school entity create appropriate health and safety plans that will serve as the local guidelines for all instructional and non-instructional school reopening activities. As with all emergency plans, we will tailor our plans to fit our unique needs in cooperation and consultation with local health agencies. We invite you to read through our plan information as outlined below and please contact us should you have any questions.

Fire Drills/Lockdown Drills

Please be advised that emergency preparedness, emergency evacuation, and school security drills be conducted at intervals required by state law. School security drills are designed to practice procedures to respond to other emergency situations such as an act of terrorism, armed intruder situation, or other violent threats. School security drills are conducted in accordance with Policy 805 and 24 P.S. §15-1517 with one (1) drill being held within ninety (90) calendar days of the start of the school year.
